Your support of the UC San Diego School of Medicine - ranked one of the top five public medical schools in the country - has never been more important. By 2010, a shortage of physicians in the United States may reach epic proportions, limiting access to convenient quality health care for patients around the country.
The School of Medicine trains capable, compassionate physicians who provide wellness and health care services locally, nationally and globally. Yet only 12 percent of the school's budget is sustained by state funding. Private gifts are essential to ensuring continued excellence in teaching, research and primary care.
